DISCUSSION -- June 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

So its about time I gave these another shot. My entry for the month is in, and with just a couple days to spare. I even managed to save one letter! (74 words)

HB – Be careful what you wished for it might just come true! A faustian bargain pays off in all the wrong ways, and someone doesn’t get what they wanted, but might just deserve.

Warren – Lost to flames it seems as though a girls life has been torn apart, but an excellent pay off sees things reversed, and a life left behind might also be a new beginning.

Calling all last minute challengers! Three days till the June challenge thread be forever sealed!

so, no pressure... :p

Three days? That's not challenging. Besides, of:- Bob S. Sr, crystal haven, Grimward, Hex, High Eight, Karn Maeshalanadae, mosaix, Parson, Teresa Edgerton, The Judge, TheDustyZebra, Tywin, Ursa major and WinterLight, at least three are registered 'down to the line'ers (although there are a couple of the 'normally cut it a bit fine'ers already in place). Probably not an absolute record, no (unless you have some concealed block of writers hidden about your person), but better than last month (56 and we already have fifty), which implies the best for over a year. Indeed, should we get all the 'regulars' in that list, we would have the second best score of all time, and you'd have to go back to June 2012 to find equal with only one missing.

AJB – A classic question is asked and just like Denton we find ourselves desperately waiting for an answer

Chris, thanks for correcting my goof-up, Jo thanks for spotting it.
I am just out of the hospital after my latest surgery and eyesight and mind have not come back to normal yet.
I've been in a fog for 6 months waiting to have this surgery, hope I can get back to "normal".
My entry is part of my mind work-out, body work-out to follow.
Hello to all good to be back.
Bob

Waves.

Yes, February and March I was being radiotheraped (passive mode) and I don't think I got a mention during that period. Mind you, I don't know if I'd recognise 'normal' if I got there.

Massive good wishes for your total recovery.

Chrispy

Hate hospitals. Hate, hate, hate. Glad you're out and I hope that you make a speedy recovery. Look forward to seeing you back where you belong.

Bob – darkly humorous tale that catches the truth of not knowing what will happen in the future, although some seem more knowledgeable than others.

Grim – Beautiful poetic introduction to the coming day, stunningly evoked with powerful imagery.

TDZ – There is no greater power than true loves kiss. Well actually that is not true and the hero seems to have discovered it.

Crystal – Trying to find an easy cure for fiscal worries might not turn out the way one expects, in fact things might only get worse.

54 (55 really as the Bear is waiting in the wings for 11.59pm to post a 75 word wonder) entries is a good count this month, but I'm happy to volunteer my services and shoot anyone who needs shooting (any excuse really) to boost this number. Just give me a name and point me in the right direction, I'm good to go....

mosaix – In the future despite all the advancements some things just do not change….

Bob Sr. --- Good to see you back. Hope you went easy on those nurses. :p

Well I think I've posted later than ever. I'm not generally a last minute kind of person. But I hope some of you enjoy the story.
