DISCUSSION -- June 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

Particularly when the wretched things wipe themselves before they can be saved so all the titles and names are lost, which is what happened last month -- just when I got to a certain member's We Crash Soft, Ware.

Hah! The forces of irony within the universe are strong, TJ! :)

Vaz – A professional killer goes about his task in an efficient and grim manner, but is there a chance of mercy?

Appello – Sometimes stories don’t end they continue after the final words, a new life following surrender, one story is over, the next?

Juliana – Arranged or forced marriages don’t always suit both partners, just be careful the one unsuited is prepared to make a point and do something about it.

Bedlamite – a reflection of current concerns, but what is the correct truth, compassion for the suffering or to put your own people first?

I'm in! It took me a while to get my thoughts together for this month for some reason.

Ratsy, I really loved your story. It sounds like a stunning beginning for a novel.

Ratsy – Sometimes events can happen that are so big that a person can do nothing, just stand and watch as they pass them by, almost as if they’re invisible.

And there we have it, I do believe this will be my 4,999th post, so there will be no more from me until I've found something to put up for my 5,000th. (I don't want to get told off for not doing it!)

Thank you for the reviews Perp and Victoria. Much appreciated.

@Parson wow thanks a lot! Actually I think I have an idea for a short story brewing on this one

Perp, I know you have a lot of material to choose from. How about something from the ever-growing new WIP. Come on..just a teaser?

I was toying with this idea and you pushed me over the edge it is done.

Karn - we're all too scared of you to keep you to it ;)

I think it was mentioned last month how people sometimes tried to do clever things with their stories, Mouse's mouse shaped story springs to mind, but there were were palindromes, acrostics, puns (okay, Ursa still does them), word play and goodness knows what else.

It was fairly customary for the writer to just let known there might be something hidden away in their tale.

Having had a little chat with one of the mods, it should be all right for me to say the following.

We thought I'd leave my entry and not say anything, just see if anyone noticed, then mention it later. (All I know is one person did). I thought I'd wait until the tenth of the month or until I hit the 5,000 post mark as they have coincided:

There is something hidden away in my story.

In fact there are could be as many as six, possibly seven somethings hidden away in it....
