DISCUSSION -- June 2015 75-word Writing Challenge

Perp, I see two things that may be considered hidden. I think they are the most obvious but who knows...If there are more, I cannot see them, and refuse to harm myself by standing on my head to read your entry.

Of course what I may consider hidden, might just be a load of rubbish, or I'm stringing you all along...

(a mini challenge for Parson)

:pI saw it from the beginning, but I simply put it down to the way the Bible still guides so much of our metaphorical language. -------- (Parson is a bit worried now, maybe there is something else, and Bowler did not even realize he made a Biblical allusion in the other place.)

Tim Kinder – The best laid plans of mice and men… of course when plans go wrong for one side they inevitably go right for the other.

Perp: I see a couple of things, but I don't know how to count them. I will say that it reminds me a little of something Dusty Zebra did early in the challenge which blew me away.

Absolutely. I hope you enjoyed it. It wasn't as hard to write as I thought it might be when I first saw the challenge. (But maybe that's a sign it's not as good as it should/could be.)

There is a (?an) historical reference in my entry, which I expected Chronners to spot... But I'm now second-guessing my hinting skills.

No, I think it is a solid enough story. And as long as you enjoyed doing it, then you did it right - it's about the fun after all.

Welcome to the challenges, Tim and to Chrons too.

As I wrote a line it made me think of a parable, so I left it in. I guess you could say my hand was guided.

I must be blind, or noticed the hidden things without realising they were hidden, cause I can't see anything, perp :cautious:

The symmetry, as bowler pointer out, is the only thing i can think of, and its something I noticed right away because I was planning on doing a similar poem entry, something which Google tells me is a 'palingram' (but obviously I didn't in the end, for not wanting to step on any perpetual toes). I've written a couple of them in the past, and they are really challenging but really fun.
So I commend the work gone into yours, and extra for the six other things that went so far over my head they didn't even register :)

Thanks LittleStar, you've just give a name to one of the things I was not sure of, so it's almost certainly 7 things! As for the other six...

I can guarantee that mine are free from any added sugar, monosodium glutamate, fluoride, salt, vitamin a, c, d, iron, trans fat, e numbers, taste, quality jokes and in some eyes talent

Unless your story's made of tofu, this is not possible. And we know for a fact from previous instalments that the Dark Lord likes the odd pizza.
