Not me. I have no idea who are the actors and don't wanna know either until I watch it with my eyes. Comm'on ! We are still talking about a Star Trek new series ! :)

It's always better to go in to a new show with low or no expectations. That's been my plan for this from the get-go, but the unofficial early reviews are starting to trickle in, and they are surprisingly good.
 
My comment was slightly tougne in cheek, but to be honest I have learned to have low expectations of Star Trek and just enjoy it for what it is. :)
 
Has anyone else seen episode 3 of The Orville yet?? Honestly I might aswell of watched a TNG episode. I was shocked. The first two episodes were pretty heavy on the comedy and nice nods to star trek but this one really had meaning and relevance and the ending, well if ever there was a star trek episode that wasn't from a star trek series. If discovery achieves 50% of the thought provication this comedey homage achieved I'll be happy.
 
My wife is angry that I would even watch a program which I would have to pay for if I want to see another. ---- She's watching the "other" T.V. ---- Good start.
 
What can you say about the 2 episode première? I liked it for the most part. It's not as thoughtful an opening as other Treks, but I think that's the whole idea with this series. While I like action, I do hope they've made room for more thoughtful expositions in later episodes.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
 
I liked it too! Nicely done.

It felt more in line with the new movies, visually. The Klingon language seemed a little too broken up to me, but that's not an issue once I got used to it. Maybe that's how it always was and I didn't notice.
