Star Trek: Discovery - new series in 2017

It seems as if an incredible number of people have already seen this, and 15 episodes made already. So, has anyone here seen it themselves and can write a review?

I will most likely write a review for my site on Sunday, then I plan to compare The Orville and Star Trek Discovery after a few eps of Discovery.

The Orville has been surprisingly good so far.(y)

I anticipate that the OTA premiere tomorrow night will hook me right into a CBS All Access subscription. Now, where did I put those Rokus?

Ironically, I do this all the time. If a show premieres on a network that I don't subscribe to, I will find ah, other methods to watch it. If I enjoy the show, I will subscribe to the channel. I probably will subscribe to CBS All Access as well. Since I also enjoy The Good Fight.

I like when they give us two episodes to start with a new series. Why the hell they choose Sunday ? Fridays are really boring without the Killjoys and Dark Matter.

CBS owns Friday nights with Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0. The fans would go ballistic and likely make them lose the friday night ratings. Like what happened when they broke up NCIS Tuesdays. They know they can't move those. Although I assume the Blue Bloods demographics are about the same at least on the older scale as the Star Trek demographics. Sundays has generally been used to introduce new off cable shows. HBO owns Sunday nights. AMC owns Sunday nights. Football owns Sunday nights. CBS may be thinking Star Trek has enough juice to get a bit of those ratings from the other networks and with All Access. CBS has always figured that they can play with the big boys too. It just might work

Fox has done the same thing with The Orville, except The Orville is still on Fox, but Thursdays. Thursdays however belongs to CBS's comedy night. Lots of logistics are involved.

I very much ticked at the syfy Channel for Canceling Dark Matter . The show was getting really good.:(

I'll watch them on Space channel, the equivalent of Syfy in Canada.

I'm not complaining for having a new series, even if only for Sunday night. It's just difficult when you go out and get back home tired, ready to go to bed and get ready for another week at work. I suppose I'll have to register some episodes and catch up later.
