Discussion Thread -- March 2016 75-word Writing Challenge

Ok team, we have our first suffer from writers block - prepare the pineapples, sashes (of various colours), tree frogs and laminated phrase cards (life was so much easier when I was on my own). Ok... lets roll team. We're starting at the top with a moderator, so be prepared for a low down and dirty scrap.

What happens when a member of the team succumbs to darkness...

Vaz... I'm pleased to be a "delightful discovery."

10 votes and none shared? Are we going to have the first 40 way tie?

I'm not sure if my hit team are succeeding or digressing, but it seems to be working, even if everyone has been distracted by a light bulb. Is it enegery efficient, or is it one of those old light bulbs we're no longer allowed to use?

Yay... A vote. All my me's will be over the moon. Hold up, two votes. Thank you Crystal and Pambuddeley - cool. As Parson says, it's anyone's still.

Vote goes to Robert Mackay.

Was very close though.

I feel there's a joke there about how many eccentric authors it takes to change a lightbulb.
One to change it,
One who walks in the room and says it's a bit too dark,
One who unscrews it and screws it back in again, to see if it's any better,
One who smashes it, then screws in a newer one,
Four who tut, saying it doesn't match the quality of an incandescent,
One who thinks it would look better with a different shade,
One who likes it, and buys one for each of their friends,
One who knows who made the light bulb, and completes several five-star reviews under different logins,
...

I go away for a few days to do some real life errands, yick, and stuff piles up. I have a plan though. First read and vote, then if time allows, finish putting up summaries of this month's stories. :D

Inspiration didn't grab me by the lapels, lift me off my feet, and thrust me against a wall this month.

For that matter, it didn't even spare a glance in my direction...

Clearly, however, it visited with many of the rest of you. Read #1 finished, and at least one more needed...
