Discussion thread -- June 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

I'm not sure I hit the theme too well, but I'm in. Although, try as I might I could not fit a cat in anywhere

....Unless, of course, it's from a cat's POV ;)

@Teresa Edgerton .... shows us that Murphy can even foul up nefarious plans, making something wonderful for someone who is usually "Totally Invisible."

T.E. I really like this story! Well done indeed.

@Heijan Xavier .... reminds us that Murphy can work in the best intentions through unintended results leaving everyone on the "Eve of Destruction."

(I know I did these two reviews earlier but they are not showing up for me. So if this is a repeat, I'm sorry.)

@HazelRah .... brings us a sad tale of being slow to act and finding out that "Eventually Everything Grows Thorns."

@Phyrebrat .... Brings us the day in the life of a space pilot when he suddenly realizes that "Murphy Always Wins."

@Piper .... Shows us that not even time travel is immune from Murphy's meticulous manipulations, read the reviews and board the Titanic for "The Voyage" of a life time. Several life times?

@Starbeast .... Provides us a deliciously ironic twist on vampire lore proving that Murphy can work for good against evil even in "Larry from Room 13."

Starbeast, I loved the ending of your story! Great job!

@Perpetual Man
.... Shows us a scene that could come from a 3 Stooges movie about how when everything goes wrong Murphy can switch suits and foil the catastrophe. This story redefines Murphy's law to read "When Everything that Can Go Wrong, Turns Out Okay."

@mosaix .... produces one of the most scary of all 75 word stories. He reminds us that Murphy is "transdimensional." This means truly that "If Something Can Go Wrong It Will" is one of the few things that are ultimately true.

@Moonbat .... Gives us a discouraging view that even the Creator is subject to Murphy and that life is the "One True Mistake."

@Starbeast .... Provides us a deliciously ironic twist on vampire lore proving that Murphy can work for good against evil even in "Larry from Room 13."

Starbeast, I loved the ending of your story! Great job!

Thank you very much, Parson. It took me a while to think of something. Your review made my day.

Starbeast -- If you've got the perfect plan, it's imperfect.

It's always a treat to see you review the stories, Lady Silverwolf. Stay awesome.

I came up with an idea, and didnt wait until the end of the day! I'm in, so @TheDustyZebra can stop thinking of hitting me with that stick

Last day for stories, but we are only four short of the mystical forty-two, and the list of so far untapped incorrigibles stands at:- nixie, ratsy, Stable, The Judge, TheDustyZebra and Ursa major, two of whom we know to be playing chicken for the last slot, so the odds are reasonable:D. (Assuming the counting faeriedoesn't reject any of the present batch for excessive loquatiousness)

On the other hand, since there are five hundred members who have played in the past, plus how many members who have not yet even tried, that's quite a small percentage of the potential submittership.

Just think, potential subscribers, if giving three voteses causes a record number of entries might not the nasty, sneaky mods do it a bit more frequently? Mind, I do remember the working out out the vote when we had seventy-five entries, and am not that enthusiastic about doing that again.
