You know, this is a good point. Dark could mean "having a melancholy atmosphere", "depicting of terrible things", "being tragic" or any number of other things or combination of these.One person's 'dark'...

OT: When I was very young we loved these fireworks called Jack in the Box, or Jumping Jacks.
They used to bounce and bang and were undoubtedly sentient. Always seeming to chase the most frail people.
They're banned now. Long-banned but I wonder who remembers them?

Really good stories this month. Nice genre choice, mosaix. I'm in with a simple poem (and have nothing for the 300, yet); poem's darkish, though.
