Discussion Thread -- July 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

I tried to keep mine light and upbeat. Something not so dark and depressing. I think I did the dark and depressing thing last time so it was time to change that.

It's about children's tools after all.

My story was originally written in verse, but I found prose far more painful to write, so, I figured, that was the way to go.

@Old_Man_Steve2016 .... Has managed to point us to the fact that sometimes it's better not to read the directions even if "The Best Toys Always Come with Directions."

@Heijan Xavier .... Has given us a tale of a heart so broken and a deed so vile that forgiveness is impossible even if "Forgive Me" Was All the Note Read."

@D.A. Xiaolin Spires .... Reminds us that every good toy story has a good moral at the end of it and that's why everyone looks forward to "Toy Story time, In Toy Land."

@Peter V .... Shows us the consequences of being an alien's toy. You are likely to find that you are "Out of the Frying Pan" and into the fire.

The foot injury was more about that thing on my leg that weighed about ten pounds (4.54 kg). It kinda got in the way of life's needs which forced me to concentrate on it rather than what needed to be done.
