@farntfar .... Reminds us that when you ignore your children and refuse to feed them they are "Heading for Delinquency."
 
@LittleStar .... Takes an old Nursery rhyme and shows us it is infinitely older than we think because in a galaxy far, far, away, things changed drastically after the ringing of "The Morning Bells."

@Phyrebrat .... is dealing with a job that makes him sick. The Gentrificator he uses is a "Weapon of Social Cleansing."

@Joshua Jones .... finds a way to make the gentlest of nursery rhymes the darkest of tales as he reminds us of "The Cost of Provocation."

Well done, unfortunately you've spoiled the ditty for me forever.

Thanks for the review. I do seem to gravitate toward the dark (or, at least, more tragic) stories, don't I? What makes this worse is that I was really planning on making my story light this month. Then a muse crept up and bit me...filthy creatures, those muses.
 
I suddenly realised that there was only a day to go. This month seems to have crept up on me. Anyway, I've got my entry in.
 
@mosaix .... Shows us that fairy tales were all begun when the Master said "I have a cunning plan...."

@johnnyjet .... Reminds us that things, including fairy tales, are subject to a sudden change, especially when referring to "Little Miss Musket."


It begins to look to me that we might fall short of the answer of the universe. 42.
 
I love this theme. If only I had more words to use, I could have a lot of fun with this. So, good choice Littlestar (y)

Immediately I thought of doing the teddy bears picnic... I had so many ideas! But as you can see, I could not make it work, and went for something else entirely :ROFLMAO:

Now on the the fun bit of reading everyone else's :coffee:

Fairy tale tangled with Myth - a daring insight from Chris,
Hair become serpents – does it hiss?

Some are clever, some are smart,
Steve has stumped Perp with his art,

Heijan Xavier sees things from the angle of the mouse,
Revealing Cinderella’s friend to be a vengeful louse,

Parenting, farntfar shows us can lead to many a problem,
Turning a child to thieving to maintain his gobblin’,

Bob reminds us beneath the tale of every fabler,
There is legalise, small print and disclaimers,

Time travel comes with warnings that indicate plight,
What one might try to change DEO shows still turn out right,

When accords are brokered things can still go wrong,
Phyre’s world is torn right down all for a discordant dong,

The glittering light reaches from forgotten years,
Joshua Bring invaders and such bitter, bitter tears,

Rebranding might be the perfect propaganda trick,
An idea supplied by mosaix and some guy named Baldrick,

A show is ruined through sharp-shooting tricks,
Johnny delivers fast reactions and detonating arachnids,

Hazel shows that absence makes lovers hearts pine,
Mitigated only by a generous jeweller swine,
 
Lucky I checked when the deadline was! That was a closey.

Some really clever ideas (and reviews...!) here.

@Stable .... The weasel always blames his pop, because he is "Cornered By The Worst Guy At The Party."

I'm in a few hours earlier than normal, so there's still about 10 hours left if you haven't yet posted your entry.
 
I had no idea that there were so many green spherical aliens hiding in Bay B...


...otherwise I wouldn't have fired all four fore reverse thrusters

Clever wordplay and a clever mind, this is Ursa territory and funny,
Fresh mind Cody Drinkwater delivers a gripping origin,
Releasing an evil ready to be filled by sin,
Gauntlets off the bear explodes twisting words with glee,
Sci-Fi epic grown from a poor baby falling from a tree,
 
I've really enjoyed the stories this month, some very zany and off the wall tales.
Good choice for a theme, it's let a lot of funny creativity out :)
