Discussion -- November 2017 -- 75 Word Challenge

My favourite thing about this genre so far is that it's made me listen to Calexico again.

Interesting..... What about Calexico's music (I only know End of the World) reminds you of this genre? I would call it folk/Tex-Mex.

It's the 'western' aspect of it, I suppose. Tracks like El Picador (if memory serves) have a Sergio Leone-esque feel that always makes me think of the classic Spaghetti Westerns.

It's either that or the Firefly soundtrack again!

@D.A. Xiaolin Spires .... Gunslinging Gallants in the Wild Underwater West .... When you are dealing with sea creatures who can re-grow parts of their body you must aim carefully.

I'm back. Finally. Just when I thought I was out they pulled me back in.

Take my love, take my land...

Good luck getting the song out of your head for the rest of the day! *Cackles maniacally*
Got all the episodes on DVD.
I never ever fast forward, I always listen all through the Ballad of Serenity - it's a part of the whole Firefly experience!

@Droflet .... ONE NIGHT IN DEAD END, NEBRASKA.... Gives us a peek at how an entrepreneur can even find a way to make a dead man pay.

@Jo Zebedee .... THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF RUSTY .... it's always a pleasure to get to have a really good dog at the circus.

This was a pair of truly original ideas. You might even think that both of you are published authors or something. ;)

How awesome - Droflet, Jo and Glen, all back in the challenge in the same month! Feels like 2014 all over again!! ;)

Actually, they were all three here in February (2017), which does suggest conspiracy, since none posted between times.

Perhaps they share a particular liking of some characteristic - although with "Growth/Fable" as the previous requirements, it is difficult to see the commonality.

Still, really nice to have them around, so who cares?
