Howdy,
I didn't get to vote last month or to read half the stories, I guess life got in the way.
I was down for the count for 2weeks with a sinus infection. When I went to fire-up my computer it wouldn't go. It took a while to get it going only to have the keypad fail the next day. Got that handled then my car broke down, had to get a different car.
We lost a friend to cancer, I thought that life would continue on it's downward spiral but as life often does it did a 180.
Was blessed with a new great grandson in Nov and I had a wonderful 81st birthday Dec 12th. Cards and letters keep coming and I can hardly wait for the mailman to hear from folks I have lost contact with, what a wonderful time of the year.

Dusty, thank you for the card, my old pal Snoopy.

Parson, thank you for the review.

Although, I've just realised that I may have entirely missed the genre... unless you happen to pick up on the fact that the story is being told by a magic duckling... who is also a ghost. With a festive bow tie. And a pocket watch.
