Cheers - most of last week I spent wishing to be the Headless Horseman out of Sleepy Hollow.

Ay-yi-yi, I feel for you, L. I've had jaw infections before, caused by molars having gone bad, and it's about the worst. You must be on drugs, and they must (hoping) kick in soon. Ice sometimes help. Get well.

I need to make time myself but with work, a jaw infection and applying for a new job there's been very little available to do it justice

I had that over Christmas (with my dentist off) and was crawling the walls with pain. If the pain is in the jaw, hot compresses will probably help. If it's moved to the tooth, cold compresses help. And as much ibuprofen as allowed - which can also be topped up with paracetamol up to the max dose a day. (Check with a pharmacist - I did that and they were very helpful)

Fortunately, I'm on the other side of it now but the meds they had me on had an annoying side effect of making my skin red and itchy lol. I looked like a British tourist at the end of their first day on holiday

One of the worst things about these challenges comes with the voting. The quality is always so high that it is a crime to have to cut down the entries to just a few.

It becomes even worse when you have made your shortlist and narrow it down even further... but worse of all is when you have a final four and really cannot decide between them. It breaks the heart to have to leave one out...
