I would always read the books even if he wrote them forever though. I just finished reading the prologue of each darkweaver book. I think i have a fair idea of what is going on, but even more questions spring to mind. Although, to know the answers would ruin the book, so I am painfully forced to wait until I get the money to buy the books after christmas.:(

and i have got to wait till you finish the darkweaver books so then i can borrow them :p lol (totaly skint) lol
 
lol i no chistmas is only 2 day away YEY but i cant wait. I like to sit down on christmas day and read but i have no book :( waaaaaa lol
 
i did ask my big sis for the DW books so i MAY have somthing to read but i migh get somthing else :( lol *pray*

I have read it. Although I didn't get it for christmas, I got it a while back. :D I did get Darkweaver books 1 and 2. Mark the Darkweaver books I have got are different from the ones on your website. The cover is different and inside it has a printed copy of your autograph. I didn't know there was any different ones that the most common ones.

There have never been any copies with printed versions of my signature. If it has one, then I put it there. Sounds like you have the original cover versions. Don't know where you got them from, but they're not that common any more. Happy Christmas. :)
 
I got Imperial Assassin a few weeks ago but I did get The Forging of the Sword today from my sister (deepest thanks to her!) since I first read it from a library book. Can't wait to read it again.

O ... M ... G it is yours, I can't believe it. Merry Christmas Back Mark and also Happy Holidays to mutant elf. The Trail of the Huntress unfortunatly hasn't been signed by you. I'll have to come with all my books to one of your signing days sometime. I could get them all done. Wow I can not believe my book is special, better christmas than I first thought. :D

If you're stuck and want the covers to match, you can always order directly from me through my website, Mark Robson (drop me an email through the contact the author page and I'll tell you how). I certainly have plenty of Book 4 in the original cover. Book 3 is officially out of print in that cover version, but I should be able to find you a copy if you're determined to have them all match.

I hate it when you can't find the matching books for your set - I had to go to Birmingham to find the original Eragon cover to go with my Eldest book.. very annoying, that always happens when a film is made from a book. I don't like film book covers.

I'm just glad I already have the Darkweaver books in the same styles!
 
I went out and bought the eragon books yesterday. I'm only part way through but they are really good. I do have the movie cover and the normal cover for Eldest. I did try looking for the original cover for Eragon.

I no this is completly the wrong the thread for this but I got Thud! by Terry Prachett for christmas of my aunt who had heard of the program Hogfather and thought I would enjoy the book. Anyway my question is : is the book in a series ? Because it does sound like it is.

Thud! is a book in the discworld series, which is about 30 books or so. While you'd read more into it if you'd read the rest of the series, it does work as a stand-alone book also.
Its a great book :D
