Hey, jsc. Myth is suppose to be beta-ing it but I havent heard from her....

Unfortunately I havent been on holiday, just the opposite....50 to 70 hour work weeks! Except for the annual audit from the company I think I have gotten everything covered at work in time to enjoy the holiday season in December.

As a matter of fact, I have been visiting my folks and thats where I am making theses posts from. By Sunday I will be back home and hopefully will be able to continue to visit here more regularly for a while....
 
50 to 70 Hours! That is inhuman. Just wait until you become a parent and those hours are resonable. But the compensations are much better than your job! Really that is nasty but this is the season to travel with Thanksgiving and Christmas being such family things and travel seems to be the necessity now. Hope you get some goodies out of these airline people. Hope they let you see your folks free. With those nasty hours your folks must have numbered you amongst the dead! They were very glad to see you!

<g> Just what I need.... Encouragement to continue filking! I've been so obsessed with it lately, I can't seem to finish the intensely dramatic Danny fic I've been writing (shhh! Don't tell my #1 beta!! She's dying to read it!)
Let's see, just in the last week and a half, I've done "This Fic" to the tune of "This Kiss" (Faith Hill); "Man! I Feel Like a Goa'uld" to the tune of "Man! I Feel Like a Woman! (Shania Twain); and the above posted "Stargate Command"! AND before I started reading this thread, I was toying with re-writes of "T'was the Night Before Christmas" (okay, not a song, but...) and "The Twelve Days of Christmas"... Saw the earlier posts you folks have done, btw, with the Twelve Days! ;-)

I think I've got my other lists to think I'm all "fun and games" and don't do ANYTHING dramatic! Hah! I've only REALLY gotten into "fun and games" since I got into filk!

I look forward to "my time here"! ;-)

here's the story of a man named hammond
who was fighting with some very nasty goa'uld
all of them had plans- with their jaffa
to dominate the world

here's the story of a man named o'neill
who was dealing with snakeheads of his own
trapped in a chulak dungeon- with sam and danny
and they were all alone

till the one day when the first prime of apophis
he switched sides and from the dungeon set them free
now this group must somehow form a family
that's the way they all became the SGC

the S-G-C, the S-G-C
that's the way they became the SGC!
