My book is 12,000 words after a rewrite, not counting all the snippets I wrote on my tablet. Working away.

The Abendau stuff is all pretty much were it was - sequel being worked on from feedback.

The dome, now called Inish Carraig (w/t for now), up to 6400 words, prologue done, first 20000 or so planned out, the back story worked out, and various plot lines falling into place in my mind. (You win, M. le docteur...)

TBM is about 48/49k. Can't remember exactly as I've had to shut the file as I can't concentrate because of the s^s*s%jnd neighbours and their j!ng*r noise.

Inish carraig, up to 10900 words, very, very rough, but I'm starting to get a sense of the two key characters, finding their voice, and now I need to sit with a file block and figure out the strands. I'm kind of relieved that I'm starting to get the feel of it.

I just crossed the 20k line. Feel pretty good about, story coming along nicely. Have averaged 3k the last couple of days. I hope I can keep it up the next couple of days. I am aiming for the 1st draft to be done by the end of August. Roughly 30k more, if I had to guess.

Posting cos I'm at a milestone. TBM is at dun dun duuuuun 50,499 words! Yay! (315 of those are notes, so I'm still just over 50k).

Spent all of today (apart from when I was at work, then when I was putting doors on a wardrobe) writing a 600 word sex scene and researching Mozart and street names for drugs.
