Inish: 70100, so backward progress with word count in a week. But, get this, 60000 ready for a readthrough. Really pleased. Loads of notes to be addressed in the next write through, but the tunnel has a light. A small one, but it counts.

I'm really impressed with how everyone is doing at the moment.

I managed 800 words today, not as much as I would have liked but it is the start of a new chapter and takes me over 30,000 so I can't really complain

no progress at all. bloody retail at christmas. bloody dog & dansette waiting till mid-november to start temps, so that it's too busy to actually spend time training them, meaning that i spend the entire day running from pillar to post and back again - and it ain't even december yet. oh, and in their infinite wisdom, the Board has decreed that no tasking is to be carried out while the shop is open. what - they think i'll work out of hours for free? that stock ain't moving itself. at this point in time, the Board should be very glad i haven't gouged out their innards with a rusty spork.

The opening scene of I, Singularity is now up to 565 words. Whch means a whole (*quickly counts on fingers until he runs out of fingers, and then just guesses*) 200 more words. Yay!

Total now 32,119.

Not managed much today, but took my self over the 1000 word mark in the current chapter, so about 450 words today

I wrote words today. it's only 12:30 am here though so not many actually today but yesterday and as of now Doomed is at 25930 words. Yay.

Busy week for me, in areas other than writing. Still managed to get some words on the page

Only the first 3.6k has had any editing. The remainder is all first draft stuff. At my current average of 1120 per chapter I'm looking at 70~80 chapters

Opening scene written and re-written, now 863 words. Four main characters behaving in typical manner in that opening scene. Pretty happy with it.

Started scanning chapter 2 of Mercenary, and feel like I've been kicked in the teeth. How long is this thing? How long did it take me to type on an old typewriter?

8,000 words in and it still feels like a ream of paper to go through.

And why does the page count get to 82, then chapter 3 starts on 46?

What was 18/19 year old me on?

TBM is now 84,300 words. I've added a new scene. Taken out several surplus 'thats' and now am generally frowning over the crappyness of the first few chapters.
