Who are your favourite characters?

dennis hartraft and asayaga from honoured enemy. it takes a lot to move past hate for your enemies, and they were great characters.

also gorath and owen.

i like a lot of the minor characters more than a few of the main ones like pug, tomas and jimmy, its the little people that make the story more real, not the few powerful ones, tal hawkins is a great one though.

Jimmy the hand (first) Jimmy (his grandson) and Dash, pug, tomas, fantus, kulgan, kitty, erik, jadow shati, roo, owen, gorath, arutha (both), tinuva, Gregory, borric (first) borric and Erland (both), hartraft and asayaga and asagaya's sergeant, nakor, calis, martin, calin, Ayaki, Kasumi, Hokanu, Kevin, Mara, Pirojil, Durine, Kethol - wow its never ending... - mara's and kevin's son who becomes emperor of Kelewan... etc
basically, love all the good ones and some of the bad ones such as Bovai because all in all he had it rough, & always will love his brother even though he (Tinuva) 'betrayed' him.

I love Nakor because of his quick mind and wit. He really made me laugh.

Having so many good characters makes it hard to choose, but I think my all-time fav would have to be Jimmy. Tough, resourceful and intelligent, rising from the sewers of Krondor to become Duke. I've been reading REF for so long that I feel like I raise Jimmy from a kid... and watched as he dies an old man.

Second fav would have to be Nakor, for the same reasons Jordy stated.

There is many good characters in the book. Like.

Nakor.
Pug.
Talon.
etc.etc.etc.
But my all time favourite HAS to be Arutha.

got to be Dash, Nakor and surprisingly for me since i usually loathe the 'good soldiers' Eric von Darkmoor. I also like Pug, Mara of the Acoma, Kevin of Zun and wierdly, The Cho-Ja queen who Mara wins for her lands. I always liked the scenes where Mara was chatting to the Queen.

I like Nakor, because he has an astute mind but I also find him the funniest character in the whole series. And Jimmy the hand, of course, a boy who achieved power and fame, starting from the ditches - isn't it romantic (oh, how I hate myself in such moments...)

I know not many people will agree but I like Bek. His perspective on life intrigues me

Bek is fast becoming one of my favourite characters.

at last someone with sense, ralan bek is one of my favourite, especialy during 'Into a Dark Realm'. Nakor as always because he has an acute sense of knowing everything useful to him but sumtimes not others, an i lurve his orange trick. also i liked Laurie during Darkness at Sethanon as he is seen struggling wit the concept of marriage wit carline.
