Check the Joe Abercrombie interview of GRRM. The man is holding a copy of the book. It actually exists, right now...and not in two volumes.

Must go make my own order, but how to ensure a first print (I got totally hosed on Wise Man's Fear: released March 3, received mid-March, 2nd print AND price-clipped).

Given its size, I expect that there might be a two-volume, paperback edition (as there was for ASoS). I'm pretty confident that the UK hardback will be a single volume.

BFS is the closest thing to a fly on the fly that we'll see until the appearance of Howland Reed (unless Jojen is Howland, cough ) I'm very excited about him being a POV char.

While I like BFS, there goes my theory about who will be the new POV. Unless, GRRM is still hiding that "surprise" POV he promised never to reveal until the book was published and BFS was a late addition?

GRRM's post was not clear on that point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has been writing a lot of ADWD recently, TK. It's possible that he just can't help being ambiguous now and then in the real world.

While we're waiting for TK to produce a list of all known threads dealing with BFS, I can tell you that the B stands for Barristan and the S stands for Selmy.
