Well, here's hoping that doesn't happen. I do have a short knocking about in case of emergency (because sometimes life just gets in the way), so here's hoping even further that if any stories are missing, it's only the one...if it's anyone you know on twitter/by email/elsewhere, could you drop a reminder?
Currently I have six stories (plus Tac's) out of 15, with a couple more I know are coming. We have till Friday folks!
Oh, good, it's not just me! I did get to working on it last night, so I'm sure it'll be coming along in time. I hardly ever do anything until the last possible second.

Mine's in. After next week (two weeks from now) my allotment of free time goes up substantially. Looking forward to reading everyones work.
I don't think everyone's work is going up on the site. If that's the case, let me know, please, and I'll wing something else instead of the one I sent, as publishing it on the Chrons will rule me out from the market that are considering it.

I think only small samples go up, the recipient gets the lot, then we try to figure out who wrote what. Then if anybody wanted to read somebody else's whole story, I guess we'd negotiate on an individual basis.

I'll wait to say that until my story is actually ...err... finished, at least.
I must say it hadn't occurred to me that we wouldn't be reading all the stories, though I'm sure I knew that on some level. Seems odd.

My thought was that we would all read each story and then give feed back as well as try to discern who penned which. I know I wanted crit on my entire thingy, especially considering we would not know whos work we were reviewing.

Um, I didn't actually expect this outlet to be so quick... But I think there are others who might want to sell theirs, and if published on the chrons in full, they will be seen as previously published. But I am very cool about knocking another one out if needs be and just keeping the first. I have, like, 36 hours, right? Wee buns... (Meeep, except I never write to a deadline.
) but now it's under consideration I don't want to jeopardise that. I think it's up to the individual, if you want a critique then it can go up in full.
Ummmm, would it just be easier if I did churn out another, KMQ?

Yeah I thought we were reading all of the full stories. I was looking forward to hearing what everyone thought of what I wrote since I was quite pleased with the outcome. I can understand the concern about submitting to be published...mine was just written for this and since I have no experience in that didn't even think about it.

I expected just excerpts excepting where the recipient shared their joy with others. Knowing some were aiming for publication as well I further assumed that said sharing would be restricted until the end when all authors were revealed and one could get permission to publish the full here.

Um I haven't finished mine yet but the story I was using, I was hoping to submit for publication somewhere (probably, eventually).
Would it be OK if we stuck to the original agreement and then people who want a full crit could post their stories and ask for one?
Places that pay normally ask for the rights for a year or more, so it might be a long wait for the permission to publish the story elsewhere.
