I'm just looking forward to doing the guessing. I reckon I know some guys here well enough, but others'll have me stumped. I'm fine with posting all of mine when it's over.
 
Is there anyone involved who can't get into the Writer's Group? Maybe they could go in a thread there?

Err...never mind, I just went back to check the front of the thread, as I should have done before posting but lazily didn't. I see at least a couple.
 
Works for me. I don't think mine'll be submitted to the open submissions e-zine as it won't fit their criteria so wherever it goes, it doesn't bother me.

Another question; what is the preference for formatting? TNR or courier? Double-spaced?

Just a fair warning, mine will probably cut close to the deadline, I've had a busy month and a) forgot about it a bit and b) spent a large amount of today being drunk/hungover. I mean, I've got stuff down, it's just not finished yet. :)

Yes, unless a mod objects, I think another thread in this subforum would be neater.

Also yes a sepetate thread in this subforum is exactly what I would be looking for. (Though to be fair, "looking" consists of hitting "new posts" and skimming thread titles more often than not. So I would be unlikely to miss it where ever it's put or moved or whatever.)
 
Finished! Now I have tomorrow to edit and send. OM actual G. This has seriously increased my allocation of greys*.

I thought I'd be writing up to the wire but got lucky today. Either that or I have just slopped the biggest load of dren onto my screen. Up till now I have been focusing on hitting my story and the whims of my selected chron member but I just realised that I have the joy of reading something that was written more or less for meeeeeee :)

This has made me think of Nanowrimo. How do you guys do it? It's insane.:confused:

Daily, a little at a time, for the one that I actually finished. I'm afraid it's a bit late for me to try that strategy for this. :D

On the other hand, it occurs to me that my other answer to that could be "1667 words a day", which in this case would be apropos. Providing we only count today, or maybe tomorrow.
 
OK. mine is definitely going to be late. I'm sorry :( I will get it done tomorrow I promise. Also it's quite long.

Well, how much longer do you need? I wasn't planning to post till sometime tomorrow afternoon (It'll be my first chance after the deadline). If you need longer, just say how long and we'll go from there? I'm sure no one will mind an extra day or two, as it's you. :)
