Argh! I am terribly sorry, have had an awful month, a close friend died, then a member of the family died, cat got sick, new chicks hatched, new house gutting, training courses, been given a pony rising 6 to fix/work on/ride around and suddenly been sprung a dog (on a waiting list so suddenly told we could have one unexpectedly) have managed a bit, but won't be able to send it in until tomorrow late afternoon/evening...honestly the rest of the year has been so chilled out then everything jumps in all in one go! So I apologise, and hope the story (however it ends up!) will be acceptable, even if it is late!

They had better happen, in fact, because this weekend is a mess -- river festival in the morning, my brother comes into town in the afternoon (haven't seen him in over a year), have to make daughter's birthday cake somewhere in there, then birthday party on Sunday. Note to self, do not drink tonight (makes me fall asleep). And oh, bloody hell, I've decided to become British for this realization, I have to go to the store on the way home from work tonight! Arrrrrgh!

Howver I have 10 stories out of 15....(I'm expecting two more v soon, I have a short here, and one lovely lady offered to write another, "just in case")

But it looks like I may have to let a recipient (or more) down. I'm sad to do it, and we'll try our best to make sure all recipients get something, but just to let you know. You may get a copy of my, or Hope's*, extra stories.

I'll figure out which stories it was later -- hoping to sort it all out about 6ish? I think, considering that they will be last minute, we're not going to be able to match them to what was requested (mine, er, prolly doesn't fit any of the requests!) so if you want to send me a story, then that would be excellent!

ETA: Actually....whoever didn't send me a story, I don't have their email anyway, so I can't send their gift (except by PM and that would mean a lot of reformatting etc and they might be too long anyway). I could recycle the gifts? Send what was written for them to someone who otherwise wouldn't get a gift? Would you all be OK with that? So you might not get what you asked for, but you will get a story?
