Sekrit Santa II -- Let's Do This Again

i forget how many words but it feels about half started. my MC just introduced a new character that the story seems to be about, with out being much about him.

i was going to write last night but had to work in the yard, which chased critters inside that then needed evictting.

i have to cook tonight but i swear I'll write something after dinner

Since this is for fun, nobody is going to insist on a rigid deadline.

If possible, try to come up with something by the end of September. If that's not possible (life does have a way of interfering) let us know and things can be adjusted. If you have to drop out because of circumstances beyond your control, that's fine. Just let us know.
 
As long as I get my story this time....(waves warning finger at anyone thinking of dropping out) :)

Although I am sure there are back up stories floating around invloving : A portal fantasy story involving a magic system and an older MC...right?

I really fancied your one, Ratsy, but the one I'm doing is fun and much stretchier for me, much less the kind of thing I write anyway.
 
How well edited do we want these things? I finished mine a while back, but haven't had the chance to go back over it yet?

Oh I will finish mine for sure. It seems the only time I actually write something is when I am under pressure for it so I like a deadline.

Kind of a bad excuse but since I just moved...I don't have a set writing spot at home. The room I am going to be using for writing has a wall paper border with cats and bees on it.... and that is not going to work for me... so the room is full of boxes of books right now waiting for me to peel off the wall paper, rip off the mirrors and hanging things and mud and paint it. I will then change the light fixture, and get a small desk and chair for the corner. The room fills with light in the morning so I can only hope that a fresh room full of books and a small personal desk will motivate me. For now I will grumble but I will get this project done. It is quite fun and I just thought of the ending for my story on the way to work today so that's good.
 
lol, that was funny...well the fact that there is no desk or chair or anything in the room may have something to do with it...but I am full of excuses always so yeah I can't write with bee and cat wallpaper.

It's kind of like the fact that its a little windy today so my golf game is going to suffer...

And TDZ I won't tell your children you want to trade them for old wallpaper :)
 
Well, if my daughter knew there was such a thing as cat and bee wallpaper, she would want to stay with it, so it would only end up being my son anyway -- and he wouldn't notice he'd been traded as long as his Minecraft computer went with him. :D
 
I was a bit stupid to put myself forward for this, really. Been busy! Still on twenty-odd words. Been on hol all week (came home a day early though cos we got rained out). I'll try to get mine written tomorrow.
 
ARGH! Still on 21 words. I don't even know what to write about. Every time I try to start something, it's rude. Does rudeness matter?
 
***makes notes to suspect a rude start might be written by a Mouse*** (I want to get one right)
