I don't think it matters how long it is in the end, Chris (As long as it is over the 1,000 words.

I'm just going to keep going until it is done.

And while I've popped my head around the door, just a quick thank you to whoever posted the request I am working on - I have not enjoyed my writing so much in a long time. :D
 
words 824 one section.. 385 the other.. the middles parts looks to be five hund. two hund. and seven plus but more is needed to jam them together.. lots of ideas though .. trying for the least silly. did i ever mention i tend to over write things ?
 
Idea is sorted. 100 or so rough words have been written, though the order of them may subject to change at some point :)
 
The two ideas I've had turned out to be shoddy remakes of popular movies once I sketched out the general plot. Research and drawing board for me.
Echoing Perps thanks, I'm having fun learning new skills for this request.
 
middle bits done.. but now have to nudge about the skin to fit.... may need to reconnect a bit. but i think my zombififed restitch will hold.. still enough time to do a total tear down and rethink though... maybe maybe.. have had another idea that might play better.....
 
My girlfriend has surprised me and is taking me away tomorrow for my birthday, goodness knows where. There is a plane involved (but then, there always is when you live on an island that is 9 miles long and 5 miles wide). I made a pretty pants start to my effort, but I know where I want it to go.

Hope I can complete my challenge before the 28th comes to get me! :)
 
Happy birthday remedy! going to someplace warm and sunny i hope? (sorry DEO, i know you are having a heatwave and are dreaming of snow.. :D)

That's okay, Jas. I know so much of the northern hemisphere is dreaming of sunshine. And parts of the UK are dreaming of dry land.

Some rain all over our bushfires would be nice.

We all want what we don't have.

They say we'll be in the 50s by the weekend, so that'll be an end to our snow. I'll try and remember to get a shot of the mountains while their still dressed for winter. Easier to see that they are mountains lol.

I got two hand written pages befor my insperation dried up. But I'm feeling good about the direction its taking.

Feb 14th and I got my idea finally! I have started writing it and this could be my favorite ever. It's going to be a fun one to write. 334 words in so far.
 
Well I came back to it on a break and I am now up to 841. Woohoo

pen explodes as it thaws from the balmy temperatures of a daytime high of minus nineteen... so much differance from minus fortyfive almost broke out the beach chairs

but getting middles together into cohesion.. albeit soggy cohesion.

I was all ready to be impressed that he beat Springs in, then I remembered she's spectating this round.
 
I've been doing really well, until the last few days. Sudden influx of chaos, and I seem to have stumbled a bit. I still hope to get the novel... errr I mean short story finished on schedule.
