Starbeast, don't worry about the reviews, mate. :)

Your reviews, like those of Perp and and Victoria, are always welcome, but we all know they're done out of the goodness of your hearts. I would always expect you to have a life first. Put your feet up and take that nap, man. You deserve it. ;)

Thanks Abernovo for the special note. It took me three days to read the stories and makeup my mind. I was planning to make listings and get back into the groove, when...WHAM-MO! My car gets lightly damaged by a hit-and-run old lady (last night). I'm a bit moody still, so I voted, and went through the comments in this discussion thread.

But still, many thanks dude.

Alchemist (the old raver), Hex, Starbeast, Remedy, Parson (somewhat worrying), Aun (I liked the reference), Mosaix (Vote), Sleepy and Ursa.

Thanks Bowler1 for the listing, it made me feel better.

Lot’s of great stories this month.

 • Starbeast - LOL
Thanks for the listing and comment, you made my night Glen.

So many good stories and only one vote, makes it very, very hard to choose.

Starbeast – From Afanc Creatures to Zburator Dragons…

Thank you Crystal Haven for the listing, it made me happy.

Great job everyone. Awesome tales which made a very long list for me to decide upon.

I voted for Chrispenycate's dark offering titled, Kali.01

Howdy SB - hope you get that sorted soon my friend!

I think you should get this month's "cheeky" award ;)!

Heh heh. Or the longest title award. :) Thanks Stormcrow.

Chrispenycate, you are very welcome. I did the fluffy kittens. Heh heh.

This has been a very surprising month for me. I may be setting a record for short lists, especially for making those lists without any votes.

Sincere Thanks to

Juliana
-- Honorable Mention

Ratsy -- Long List

Crystal Haven -- Short List

Storm Crow -- Favorite List

seem to be continually running short on time this month so just popped in to vote...

i'm voting for the story that made me laugh out loud the first time i read it and just now, when re-reading all the stories, made it impossible to concentrate as i couldn't get the following out of my mind (complete with actions!)

Big fish...

Little fish...

Cardboard box.

i'm sure you can all guess which story i voted for!

Thanks for the long-listing, crystal haven and jastius, :)

Thanks for the short-listing, Teresa and Bowler1. :)

And thanks for the mini review, Victoria.

Many thanks Victoria for the review, hope you liked the fact the mythical founder of our universe is female...

Thanks again Victoria for the shortlist! And also Hopewrites, Telford, Chrispenycate and Stormcrow.

Parson, you and I are in the same boat, it seems. Ready: 'row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily......'

A short-list:
Or the magnificent seven -

Alchemist - Hex – martin321 - crystal haven – stormcrow – Boneman - Culhwch

Vote to Culhwch.

Oh, definitely go with Yul Brynner -- he's devastatingly handsome!

(You have to hear that in the voice of Sloane Peterson, talking about the Sausage King of Chicago.)

Not much time this month and I know I missed the point of some great stories due to my mythical-knowledge based ignorance.

List and vote:

Springs
Alchemist
Bowler1
Hex
telford
TitaniumTi
martin321 - VOTE - Fantastic!
Parson
Alex, The G and T
crystal haven

Sorry to my list-ees that I have not made comments on why I chose your entries, but just know that there were reasons... good ones, with explanations :)

Big thanks to: Bowler1, Tywin, Martin321, Parson, Hopewrites, SleepyDormouse, Perpetual Man, ratsy, crystal haven for mentioning or listing my horny goat-man poem. So happy to have been gifted that many mentions.

A huge Thank You to Boneman, you made my day with that vote. I wasn't expecting so much for my entry this month.

Thanks Stromcrow, Teresa and Remedy. I don't usually get so many mentions so thanks everyone.

A neck and neck on the home straight with only hours to go.

Huge thanks to Mr Orange for the vote, and to those who mentioned my story as well. I might try to be less obscure next month :D

Remedy: Thanks for the short list. Your story was one of my favorites

Wow! Thanks for having me in your Magnificent Seven, Brev! :)

*moseys off to find a small village to defend*

I might try to be less obscure next month :D

Obscure? making me think I missed something....

Your 'weapon of choice' line reminded me of the fatboy slim video. In my head it was Christopher Walken vs the fairy king. :D Like Mr O said, made me chuckle.
