DISCUSSION THREAD -- June 2020 -- 75-Word Writing Challenge

@Richard-Allen .... Untitled ... R-A writes a story for our times. He sees a chance for peace when no one could have anticipated it.

Thank you, we have to believe that it is possible. If we do believe than there is a chance. The odds maybe slim, but there still is chance that the snake eyes can be rolled on the die's isn't there. Well is it possible, two in twelve. Believe.

Feeding the Sheep.

"Tom, have you fed the sheep," shouted Millie, "you know we've got to fatten them up."

"I'm just mixing the feed now," said Tom.

There were twelve sheep, and this would be the last feed before they would be ready for the short journey.

Soon they were well fed, and they were headed for their final destination.

Waiting patiently was a purple dragon, her monthly sacrifice was coming.
nicely done.

As an occasional pedant I feel the need to point out that the odds of rolling snake eyes are one in thirty six, not two in twelve.

Not that that should affect your point at all. Carry on.

Can I reuse 75-worder from April? It totally fits the genre!!

I'm guessing this is the place where we vote our favorite tales.
But I shall wait until the 23rd so that I may witness all of the poems to be placed and give the necessary respects to all of the authors before putting down my one vote...
Though is it possible to place multiple votes? That would be nice for me specifically, for I am very bad at making choices between the already many great and ironic tales that's been revealed so far, haha!

There will be a separate thread for voting when the challenge closes. Those who are new are contractually required to vote for my story... ;)

@Fogged_Creation .... Earthworm Valley .... F_C reminds us that even the lowliest can wax poetic as it drifts skyward.
Welcome to the 75 Word challenge!

@sule .... The Llanwelly Case .... Sule sets us up for a line worthy of a rimshot.

@Vince W .... Grass Wars .... A story about a war that I never would have imagined, but after Vince showed it to me I can't get it out of my mind.

@Bren G .... Out of Eden .... Bren highlights a Biblical maxim. "Be sure your sin will find you out."
