Discussion Thread - SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE April 2013 -- HAREBRAIN WINS

Re: Discussion Thread - SEVENTY-FIVE WORD WRITING CHALLENGE April 2013

Thanks for the comments, Victoria Silverwolf and Starbeast. This is a real challenge of a topic and I liked some of the cool -- if not chilling -- angles taken on it.

You're welcome EloiseA. And I agree about the multitude of cool tales here.

Don't worry about your first 75 entry, you did fine.

Thankyou Starbeast! was going to put moonlight sonata but that kept shifting in my head to glenn miller and swing kitties..

You're welcome Jastius. Beethoven's tune made it a beautiful touch. Swing music would have made it a more comical ending. Either way I love the idea of tiny musically talented kittens.

Phyrebrat, thanks for the fabulous (and fast) review! The ink wasn't even dry yet.

Abernovo - A humorous tale told at a pub (the best kind) about a very unusual creature. Very cool and highly amusing.

Boneman - Fugly (great name) the talking cat makes for a funny feline entry. Excellent, I love that cat.

Bob Senior - Very fast paced and comical kitty story that made me laugh. Furry fantastic.

The Spurring Platty - Another funny story of briliant bizarreness! Don't look in that litter box!

pH, And I was so overwhelmed by your kind review that I didn't notice we were in the wrong thread either. Now that we're stuck here together, how do we get out?

Well, I've posted my far from purrfect tale. But at least I've avoided cuteness....

Thanks for the review and sorry I'm a bit late with the thanks.

You guys had me going for a while there -- I thought I had missed something! I had visions of a story having been posted and removed for some awful reason before I got to read it! :D (It's happened before....)

Starbeast, thank you very much, it's my goal in life to keep you laughing.

Boneman -- a cute joke

Bob Senior -- a wild ending to a very tall tale indeed

The Spurring Platty -- leaves unsettling details to the reader's imagination

TheDustyZebra -- original and offbeat

Phyrebrat -- an affectionate spoof of the hardboiled genre

Ursa major -- leads the unsuspecting reader to its tricky ending
