You're welcome Fitzchiv. I think just about all of us jot down an idea that seems endless in wordage. Nothing wrong with that. But when limited, just stick to the main point of your story, and trimming the excess will be much easier.

Yes, oddly, it's harder to trim to 300 words than it is to trim to 75. I'm not sure why that is.

I'm struggling to choose. I knew that I was going to vote for one story as soon as I read it, but I have a long list of 13 other stories, each superb in its individual way. With great difficulty, I have whittled 13 down to 5, and there I have stuck.

Now to read them again...
