Discussion Thread -- 300 Word Challenge #13

or did everyone see death? ;)

Well... there are hooks, blades and all sorts of things like that in the picture. It's the face, right in the middle, that makes it really interesting. Not everyone will see the grim reaper, but I suspect a lot will. What I can guarantee is no two will be the same.

Mine's finished for the time being.

It went down from 369 to 301 pretty easily and now I have it down to 300. Going to let it marinate and read it in a couple of weeks to see if I still like it.

In the meantime I may get another idea - the story I wrote surprised me as I was planning on writing a completely different one. That one didn't come out, though, this one did.

I will be the opposite Phyre...I wrote my first idea. Edited it down 40 or so words and there it is...no marinating for me this time. Hope you all enjoy it :)

Great new stories everyone! Victoria, such a haunting, lovely piece. I have one almost ready to go...kind of scared to post it! :)

Thank you Victoria. Yours is another brilliant addition :)

Something tells me this is going to an extra hard month for voting!

I agree. This means I will need to spend another day reviewing and listing and cutting and mind-changing, after all the entries are in. Luckily, it's really fun to read such great entries again!

Come on CC, post your entry, make it harder for us! ;)

:) Hi Remedy! Well, truth be told, my little story is a comedy piece (I hope!), and in one part I mention another Chrons member..I am just awaiting their permission to be included in the story, before posting. Comedy is so hard, so I am also using this time to steel myself for posting! :) Hopefully I'll hear back today, or tomorrow! I hope too we'll have a rush of new stories soon!! :)

Thanks Victoria!!

And yes Cats Cradle, you can use me as a handsome Greek God in you story...heehee

(now that would be a comedy!!)

:) Well, I suspect after I've been here a bit longer I'll reject such high falootin' concepts as 'permission'...I'm just not sure yet what is forgivable!
Although people are still talking to me after all of the bad-bad jokes I've made in the Playrooms, so maybe it is true that anything goes! :)

Brilliant CC :D When I read the part about Polka music, I dribbled a bit of my coffee laughing! - It certainly is very entertaining!

Thank you, Juliana, I'm really happy you enjoyed i! And thank you--I think??--Dusty Zebra!! :)
