DISCUSSION -- January 2015 75 Word Writing Challenge

Your welcome back Parson.

Someone voted for me and I've no idea who (bring back the old pole where you could see who had voted). Thank you, who ever you are.

You can still see who voted for you Bowler, just click on "1 vote(s)" :)

Time seems to have completely evaporated over the last few days, so I`m behind in quite a few things,, including putting my short list together, but I would like to give a big thanks to Sancho for the mention and a bigger one to Parson, not just for the vote but for the words that came with them.

I respectfully disagree though, had you written something along a similar theme I`m pretty sure it would have outshone mine with ease.

Ashleyne B. Watts .... Thanks for the short listing. My true to my life story is doing better than I'd hoped.

Perp ... I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. ;)

thanks for the shortlisting kerrybuchanan,

and thanks heaps for the vote willwallace! I really wasn't expecting much this challenge so stoked with that.

so here is my rather short, rather eclectic shortlist (for the second time, damn technology):

Come With Me -- alchemist
LAST LAUGH -- Bob Senior
Self(ish) Preservation -- Moonbat

in the end moonbat's moving story just won out from the conjoined twins and brent from luton

Aww, thanks Mr Orange, and also thanks to Cascade for the votes.
Thanks to others for the short/long listings.
Looks like we have two front runners at the moment, a fairly close race this month.

We don’t have enough votes. So many good stories. I enjoyed reading them all.
This is my list, *short list, and Vote.

Springs – The Call Of The North
*Alchemist – Come With Me
*Bob Senior – Last Laugh
Culhwch - Meine Liebe
Boneman – Loves Outcome
Perpetual Man – The Greatest Love
*Glen – Love of a different kind
Parson – The Aroma of Love
The Judge - After Office Hours, the Moon & Bills Slush Pile

And thank you, Willwallace, for the long listing.

Lots of terrific stories again this month, but as the theme says, we have to choose.

Special mentions to Victoria, Culhwch, Boneman, Holland, Alchemist and Anne Marie.
Extra special mentions to Bob Senior, and Robert Mackay.
But my vote goes to Ashleyne for Nigel and Betty which makes me smile no matter how often I read it.
(Just don't tell the Farovna that I identify with the bloke that married a pig.:LOL:)

I had a hard time deciding between Cascade, Crystal Haven and Culhwch (all the Cs!) but in the end I went for Cul's wonderful story for all sorts of reasons -- it packed so much into 75 words.

Others I really enjoyed this month: Mr Orange, alchemist, Bowler, and Robert Mackay.

Howdy,
Thank you for the short listings and extra special mention----Parson--Johnnyjet--Mr Orange--Crystalhaven--farntfar, made my day for sure.
Parson, any guy that can run 5 miles every day should be able to eat all the donuts he wants to.

My vote went to Big J, my lap dog Ruby wouldn't have it any other way.

Bob

I bring good news for lazy people.

Because there will be a server move tomorrow (see here) and there is the possibility of some disruption, the voting deadline has been extended.

VOTING WILL NOW END AT 11:59 PM GMT ON THURSDAY JANUARY 29TH.

Thank you for your attention. Please go about your business.
