DISCUSSION -- January 2015 75 Word Writing Challenge

I loved your story, Cascade. Makes me smile every time I read it. Sorry I didn't have another vote :|

I'm with Hex on this one, Cascade! I love your take on the challenge...I think it's a fresh voice for this competition, and I think your story is remarkably effective--it's one of my two favorites, and now I just have to decide between the stories. That should be done soon. CC

A quick thanks to Crystal Haven for the mention, and straight on to my shortlist, in no particular order.

Parson
Ursa
Springs
Cascade
Victoria
Bob
Cul
Sancho
Mr Orange
Moonbat

With many others being so close to the lust that it was hard not to include them.

The vote though goes to Moonbat.

My lists, long, short, V0TE

Culhwch
Perpetual Man
Parson
The Judge
Cascade
Juliana

REIVER33

It was a very close decision for me between Cascade's story and reiver's, but it was reiver by a very slender margin.

Here we go again.
Honorable Mentions: Juliana - Karn - CC - Bob Snr - Winter Light - Bony - Azzagorn - Reiver - Bowler - DEO and of course TJ.
Another tough one (again). MY vote went to Moonbat. Welcome back.

Back again. Been off line for a while and just checked the comments. Wow, a vote from Moonbat. Thank you so much. Made my day. Thanks also to J/Jet, W/Wallace and Luiglin for the mentions.

Evening all. Just got back in town, caught up with my job (which put me in a bad mood - but I'm over that now), relaxed, read the amazing stories for this month's 75 challenge...

...they were fantastic!!! Such detail and imagination in just a few words. I read them twice, and was thoroughly entertained. There were stories that made laugh, feel sad, and some that made me say "WOW!" A tremendous collection of incredble and emotionally powered tales that made my eyes dry from not blinking.

I stare down at my entry that lays on the desk (ready to submit), and shrug. I'll save this one that I expanded from an idea a had mid-month. No problem.

I cast my vote, after taking a half a day to decide which one. Nice to be here again.....GREAT GALAXY!!! I've got my story for the 300 Challenge to finish.

(scrambles away at top speed to write, and trips over a squirrel) "AHHHH!!!" (CRASH, CRUNCH, KA-BOOM.....THUD, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce. Stands up, still smoldering, and shambles away)

Even with extra time to vote, I figured I'd better get in now so I don't get sidetracked and miss it. I'm especially good at missing things because I had too much time. It's a bit longer than usual, but I can't seem to concentrate long enough to pare it down.
