DISCUSSION THREAD -- AUGUST 2022 -- 75 Word Writing Challenge

Another vote for Scarcity and Value by @Parson -good old style SF with an ironic twist, and an easy pick for me.

Also really liked:

Waterway To Go by @paranoid marvin -Some local solar system SF -I've been listening to 'Transmisisons from Colony 1' and am finding the imagined red planet all a bit serious, this tale was the antedote.

Internet Down by @mosaix A comedy twist to dystopia ...I wouldn't trust that machine, wireless database access or no wireless database access;)

Trappist Tuesday’s Teleportation Trade Treat: Tasty Terran Trapezoodae by @BT Jones -Try saying that after a a few Trappist beers -thought the idea af subsea wormholes for our watery cousins was a cracker.

Unburdening by @Astro Pen -I thought it was poetic and well written ...art in word form.

Thanks all for the stories.

Hey, really chuffed with 3 shortlistings. Thankyou johnnyjet, AnRoinnUltra and Christine Wheelwrite.

The entries I enjoyed most this month were Phyebrat and Ursa, but vote goes for the imagination and creativity that has gone into Cat's Cradle's stream of conciousness.

Many thanks to Victoria Silverwolf, nixie, THX113 for the listings, and WOW!, paranoid marvin, a vote! Thank you, and for the kind words on the story, CC
